hoist chains

Heat treated hoist chains of “T” quality are recommended to be used for manual hoists or lower speed motor hoists which do not work in abrasive environment.
Hoist chains of “DAT” quality are surface-hardened. This quality is recommended to be used for motor hoists of higher speed in combination with higher working capacity, where the higher surface resistance for higher working life is required.
The surface hardened chains are not recommended to be used in manual hoists. The hoist chains of “DAT” quality have higher surface hardness than the core hardness and are used for motor hoists because they are more wear resistant.

Using instructions of hoist chains

Hoist chains of “T”, “DAT” quality can be used in temperatures up to +200°C. The chain will be disable, if the temperature is higher than 200°C.
Hoist chain must not be used in acidic medium nor be exposed to acidic fumes.
Any additional treatment as hot-dip galvanizing, electrogalvanizing, cadmium plating made by the user is forbidden.
Hoist chains must not be used for sling chain production. Hoist chains must not be used in a hoist for underslung or loop binding.
We produce also other dimensions of hoist chains, for example according to DIN 5684, ISO 3077, JIS B 8812.
